All MWRTA services are Fare Free through June 30, 2025.
MassDOT and the Legislature have reauthorized the TryTransit Program. MetroWest Regional Transit Authority riders will continue to have fare free options!
Fixed Route riders: Get a free fare by using an MWRTA Catch Card! Aquire a Catch Card from a bus driver, or from Customer Service at our Central Hub, located at 15 Blandin Ave, Framingham MA 01702. Once you have a Catch Card, please register it by using the MWRTA Catch App, calling (508) 935-2222, or by coming to the Central Hub. Once your card is registered, simply tap it when boarding the bus and recieve free fare!
Demand Response riders: Free fare is automatically applied to your trip! Simply call the MWRTA Central Reservations Department at (508) 820-4650 to book your ride - once your trip is complete, there will be no fare deducted from your debit account!
Catch Connect riders: Free fare will automatically be applied to your account. Simply book a ride as you normally would, either through the MWRTA Catch App, or by calling (508) 283-5083, and no fare will be deducted from your account! This applies to all Catch Connect service areas.

CatchCard
Customers may obtain a CatchCard at the MWRTA Central Hub or from drivers on Fixed Route vehicles. CatchCards have no initial value. Customers may load value onto their card through the Catch App or at the Blandin Hub during regular business hours. Customers will not be able to use cash to add value to their CatchCard on any MWRTA vehicles.
*MWRTA will no longer accept payments through MBTA CharlieCards. Individuals with a CharlieCard that still contains funds may bring it to the MWRTA Central Hub and receive a new CatchCard with matching funds loaded on it.
Monthly Pass
MWRTA is excited to offer a new monthly pass option to customers, providing an affordable way to ride all month long! Monthly passes can be set to automatically renew every month using a registered credit card, or they can be purchased on a month-to-month basis. Please visit the MWRTA Central Hub at 15 Blandin Ave., Framingham MA 01702 to obtain a monthly pass. Riders with an existing CatchCard can switch to a monthly pass by doing so in the Catch App.
Reduced Fare CatchCard
MWRTA is offering a Reduced Fare CatchCard for Seniors (65+) and individuals with disabilities. Those who qualify may fill out an application in order to obtain their Reduced Fare CatchCard. Applications may be found at the MWRTA Central Hub or online. All applications must be submitted in person at the MWRTA Central Hub, 15 Blandin Ave., Framingham MA 01702. MWRTA offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Catch Connect
Catch Connect fares are paid through the Catch App at a flat rate of $2.00 per trip. Customers can load value onto their account by either using the app or calling (508) 283-5083. For more information on MWRTA Catch Connect services, visit www.mwrta.com/catch.
Dial-A-Ride/MetroWest Ride
Dial-A-Ride and MetroWest Ride fares are paid through a customer's fare account. Customers can load value onto their account either online or by calling (508) 820-4650. For more information on the MWRTA Ride services, visit www.mwrta.com/senior-and-disabled.
